Chardonnay is a 25.90-metre steel ketch built in 1982 to a Don Brooke design — a private New Zealand commission where cost was never the constraint, only quality. Restored from the keel up between 2023 and 2026, she has been stripped to bare steel, scanned, rebuilt and re-certified for unrestricted ocean charter.
She sails the Mediterranean from May through October, then crosses the Atlantic to winter in the Caribbean from November through April. A week aboard is unhurried by design: six guests, three professional crew, a chef-led galley and an itinerary shaped entirely around your party.

What you'll see.
Six guests, three crew
A chef-led galley and a deliberately small guest list — Chardonnay is run as a private yacht, not a charter platform.
Built without compromise
A Don Brooke design, commissioned in 1982 for one of New Zealand's most discerning owners and rebuilt to new-build standard in 2023–2026.
Two seasons, one yacht
Mediterranean summers and Caribbean winters — she follows the light.
